ELECTRONIC CHEQUE DROP BOX

SOFTbee has designed an Electronic Drop Box which will be placed in banks and  cheque collection points to provide receipt to the customers for the cheques dropped. It also records the cheque numbers along with the account number and value entered by the customer. These records can be transferred to a PC through a USB pen drive. When the customer inserts the cheque into the equipment, it is automatically drawn in. The MICR data in the cheque is read. The customer is prompted to enter the account number and value of the cheque, through a keyboard. A receipt is provided to the customer with date, time and cheque details.
