The HIMS application Softcare is designed to ease cumbersome administrative and management activities. Softcare allows control for MIS, inventory and marketing activities; the operations are need based and it enables detailed information as required by the management. The application is extremely user friendly, simple, capable of multitasking and affordable. HIMS has been sufficiently spruced up to suit for both Teaching as well as Non-Teaching hospitals. Key Modules in HIMS

The application software is integrated with multiple modules, which are need based and can plugged in and plugged out any given time without disturbing other working modules.  The following is a brief description of each module:

  1. Masters / Administration Module

    The fully integrated HIMS is based on Masters and Administration setup, which serves as a backbone for our application with features to setup the practice and its master data along with the creation of various levels of users and configurations which can be customized at a practice or user level.

  2. Registration Module

    The registration module records the following information: Patient Demographics, Patient Contact, Insurance Information and also schedules appointments for the respective doctors required.

  3. In-Patient Module

    IPD module consists of details like patient admission, investigation request, LAB request, ICD coding, nurses note, doctors note, billing status, discharge summary etc.

  4. OPD Module

    OPD module records patient encounters for each visit such as vital signs, clinical information, and can also request lab tests or investigations and electronically prescribe prescriptions directly to pharmacies for critical psychiatric cases.

  5. Medical Records & Statistical Records

    This module stores and displays patient data based on patient visits, displays patient history, with also a review of results.

  6. Laboratory Module

    The Laboratory Module saves you valuable time and money by enabling you to order labs and receive results electronically. Through pick lists and check boxes, physicians can order studies and tests with a few clicks of the mouse. The ability to scan paper lab results, radiology images automatically and attaches them to the patient record. SoftCare also facilitates management of medical images with DICOM standards.

  7. Pharmacy Point of Sale Module

    The module consists of all the information including sales, prescription and drug request of IPD and OPD patients can be requested electronically. Stock maintenance and reconciliation and various business reports pertaining to pharmacy can be generated.

  8. Inventory Module
  9. Information of Hospital equipments and infrastructural needs, Main, Multiple and sub stores concept of the software makes inventory intact.

  10. Operation Theatre Module

    Booking and allotment of Operation Theatre can be scheduled for surgical procedures and equipment required for the respective surgical procedures can also be recorded in this module.

  11. Finance Module
  12. All billing activities and necessary reports pertaining to Corporate, Insurance and Individual can be generated and can be parameterized. Physician productivity reports based sorted by individual or department can also be generated.

  13. Utilities / Security Settings Module
  14. Security Settings Module which deals with the Administration (creation and management) of users, roles, and the assignment of roles to users.

  15. MIS / Reports (Management Information System Reports Module)
  16. This module gives a snapshot record of the patient specific or Physician wise details on the various statuses and services being scheduled, financials and payments reports, patient wise and Physician wise details   on the total collections and outstanding amount, Patient related reports Demographic wise, illness wise analysis of the treatment and care provided by the hospital.
